Corfu, the green island of the Phaeacians * Ulysses’ last stop on his way to Ithaca, is the best known of the Ionian Islands.
Its elegance and grace to be the dregs left by the various civilizations that have passed through the island and the natural beauty that is equipped.
It is a cosmopolitan island where you can combine relaxation with entertainment and nightlife, as an international center which responds to the demands of the most demanding visitor.
The capital of the island is Corfu (Kerkira). Built on a narrow strip of land into the sea, is divided into two sectors, north and south. In the northeast is the Venetian fortress, isolated by an artificial moat called the “Contra Forsa”? The city of CORFO is composed entirely disparate elements, remnants of different cultures.
