From 14 to July 17, 2011, Italy Barcelona arrives in Italy with the Magic Tour, a road show that runs the main European cities to introduce the excellence of Italian gastronomy, culture and history of the country and the charm of its landscapes.

For four days the people of Barcelona and the tourists who walk in the Port Val will experience firsthand experience an unforgettable trip to Italy, a virtual reconstruction of a typical Italian piazza, food and wine tastings DOP, music shows and exhibitions of “acrobatic pizza” cooking show and snacks. “Magic Tour Italy” is an initiative coordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Tourism to promote Italy’s image in Europe. The project aims to explain to the public in European cities where the Tour does stage, that Italy is an ideal destination all year round, thanks to the great variety of landscapes and its rich cultural and historical heritage.
