Tourist destination on the north coast of Puerto Plata 2011

This plan aims to revive tourism activities in the province of Puerto Plata.
This management is in charge of the Atlantic Foundation with support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB-MIF) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID-DSTA).
This plan is also supported by the Tourism and Cultural Cluster of Puerto Plata, is intended to incorporate a complementary to the traditional tourism model of “sun and sea” to create new spaces in actions that encourage the community to link with the economy Puerto Plata tourism in this region.
Lourdes Santiesteban, organizer of Governing bodies of Fate and Sergio Stump, president and founder of the Italian company Euro Target, presented the results of regional tourism work for Puerto Plata, as mechanisms for sustainable management and social inclusion, which was held last March in this province.
